YOUTH DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

Developing personal leadership behavior is a critical component in bringing youth into society as healthy, productive contributors. The Rising Stars program instills these behaviors in addition to assisting in the reduction and prevention of risk behavior. In many cases, personal attitude can directly determine whether a young person succumbs to a problem or turns it into an opportunity.

YOUTH LEADERSHIP PROGRAM

Interpersonal skills, increased knowledge and goal-setting behavior enhance the ability of youth to assess the impact of their current behavior on their future success. The Rising Stars process passes on these skills through innovative, self-directed learning strategies where young people take responsibility for their own personal improvement and constructiveness.

The Rising Stars Program's proven results include:

   - 40% grade point increase
   - 56% reduction in school disciplinary/truancy incidents
